SNOWFLAKE

Data Cloud World Tour Video on the Burj Khalifa
2022

How do you announce a global data tour in style? By lighting up the tallest building in the world, of course. To kick off Snowflake’s Data Cloud World Tour, we brought a snowstorm to the desert, projecting a bold visual story onto the Burj Khalifa and spotlighting each tour city from New York to Sydney, all leading to the grand finale in Dubai. The larger-than-life moment became social gold, generating buzz, boosting attendance, and proving that when it comes to global brand moves, Snowflake doesn’t blend in, they light up the skyline.

  • Snowflake wanted to make a bold statement in Dubai—something audacious, unexpected, and worthy of their 10th anniversary. The goal? Reinforce their global brand status while building buzz for the upcoming Data Cloud World Tour. The solution: a one-time-only, three-minute video projection on the side of the Burj Khalifa. No do-overs. It had to land big—and fast.

The piece delivered, balancing spectacle with storytelling. Snow fell on the desert, signaling Snowflake’s arrival. Data-inspired dots introduced Snowflake to Dubai as a serious enterprise player. The Burj appeared to freeze over. Landmarks from other tour cities flashed by, underscoring Snowflake’s global reach. And it all wrapped with a giant Snowflake logo and a heartfelt nod to Dubai.

Snowflake went big (and tall)—and it worked. The projection wowed the crowd, amplified Snowflake’s presence in a key market, and racked up the stats: over 100,000 views, nearly 650,000 impressions, and 10,000+ likes worldwide. What started as a one-off spectacle turned into global buzz.
